The Roundup

I don't know how often I will do this, or when I will do this, but I think that a random collection of things happening may be a good thing to post.

For starters, me and other Seahawk fans can rest easy as MVP Shaun Alexander has re-upped with Seattle. Yes, 8 years is a lot, but if you have a 2-4 year window to make the Super Bowl in the NFL, you take it and deal with the mess of a contract in later years.

New poll numbers are out for Bu$hCo, and they don't look pretty. No matter how you look at them.

Not that I caught any of the Oscars, but apparently Jon Stewart was still his old self.

Thoughts and prayers for Kirby Puckett, one of the all time Strat-O-Matic (and MLB) greats.

One week to go before March Madness is in full swing. Looking for another Big East champ.

Looks like Baron von Mustache is up to his old diplomacy tricks regarding Iran. Good thing he is our face to the world at the UN.

And lastly, in a mix of sports-meets-politics, it looks like there is now a criminal probe into Pat Tillman's death. Nothing more to say there.
